We construct in-pipe manipulators for steel pipes of 65 to 1000 mm in
diameter

We always test new devices on a mock-up (original size model) first
Sometimes pipes are long and narrow, and it is not possible to simply climb into each of them. But for our in-pipe manipulators it is easy: they can be used for grinding, inspecting, welding, retrieving or suctioning - be it for an inspection, condition-based maintenance, examination or sanitation work of your pipes; in a nuclear or coal-fired power plant, in a refinery, on an oil rig or offshore drilling platform, and so on. Our services and products are suitable for all these applications and branches.
We can also support you in the assembly of pipe systems for which we provide flawless welding seams: While you install and weld the pipes, we grind them from inside in the assembly procedure. This way you can be a hundred percent sure that the welding seams are flawless.
We inspect and treat (austenitic and ferritic) steel pipes with inside diameters of approximately 40 mm to 1000 mm. Our options are practically only limited by the number of bends in the pipe system. Their radiuses should be greater than the 1.2-fold of the pipe diameter (which is very narrow and unusual). From a number of six or seven bends or more, the frictional resistance of the pipes becomes too big and the effort considerable. With straight pipe systems also diameters of less than 65 mm are possible. As regards the pipe lengths, there are hardly any limits. 200 metres can be navigated without any problems; with lengths beyond that it is a matter of the drive, the technology and, in the end, also of the price.
