Company profile:

IBASS GmbH & Co. KG primarily develops and distributes in-pipe manipulators for various applications. We particularly inspect and treat steel pipes with inside diameters of 40 to 1000 mm. The procedures we have developed include suctioning and retrieving things from pipes, inspection, grinding, examination and welding. For this purpose we design and construct manipulators of corresponding sizes that are made up of different units. In 1996, we launched the first grinding units for treatment of in-pipe welding seams as well as the visual inspection unit.

The company's history began in 1992 with the IBSS engineering office for plant engineering and construction, radiation protection and software development. In 1998, the IBASS Manipulator e. K. trade firm was assigned to the engineering office in order to market the equipment internationally. Due to the company's increasing levels of turnover, the IBASS GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2010.
